Compton Verney Private House

Our client invited us to design a new kitchen and living space, together with a new utility room.

Entertaining their large family and friends was a priority – alongside the client requiring a spacious kitchen due to being a skilled cook.

The space was carefully designed to deliver a ‘working’ kitchen with an elongated island that served as a dining area for the family. This allowed for the adjacent space to house wall to wall storage cabinets covered in beautiful warm oak tops – complimenting but differing to the calm quartz worktops in the partnering kitchen.

The other end to the space incorporate a calm and inviting seating area – for family and friends to relax in this informal entertaining space.

The utility room mimicked the same style and feel as the kitchen – creating a flow from one to another.

Katherine did an outstanding job with our project, which was particularly challenging due to the kitchen extension. She managed to cleverly incorporate all the important elements, even ones I never thought could fit.

Her design work deserves special recognition – an exceptional blend of colours and textures, all combined so thoughtfully.

It is a level of creativity and sophistication we could never have achieved on our own.

Highly recommended!
