We were invited by this family to help with the ‘finer’ touches to make their recent purchase of a wonderful Grade II listed Oxfordshire country house – their home.
The initial priority were the two children’s bedrooms. Due to the rooms being in the attic space, the rooms were painted with Little Greene lighter shades with a feature stronger coloured wall. We designed and installed bespoke soft furnishings for the window treatments.
In the family room, we sourced two large rich navy blue wool sofas and complimented this furniture with bespoke contrast velvet piped cushions in soft duck egg wool and dark mineral coloured herringbone wool.
In the dining room, Herringbone pure wool from a local fabric mill was introduced in a moss colour way, for the new set of beautiful oak dining chairs.
The formal living room was dressed with full length embroidered curtains and Roman blinds. Cushions were introduced for the furniture in complimenting fabrics and colours.
