Buckland

This beautiful Cotswold stone house had just undergone a renovation and extension building project. The family required the ‘finishing touch’ to the interiors. We concentrated on the soft furnishings to the ground floor living rooms and kitchen, introducing warm reds and taupes to complement the exposed stone walls, the elegant oak and metal staircase and warm tones to the floor covering. Full length pinch pleated curtains now hang in the principal drawing room and study with magestic wing backed and button backed chairs, footstools and sofas. Contrast trimmed cushions, showcasing Indian crewelwork, silk embroidery and a rich herringbone buttoned ottoman; ensured the seamless flow from room to room – creating a sense of welcome into this family home.

“We’d seen some of Katherine’s work and knew she had the talent and stylish skills we were looking for. She immediately understood our desires for an elegant, sophisticated but child friendly look while also appreciating my husband’s need for a prompt service, within budget. Her ideas were exciting and appropriate and covered all areas of the brief. We are thrilled with the quality and style she has brought into our home. Thank you Katherine!”
